Hi, I’m Whitney.

I’m an Alaska girl now living in Seattle by way of LA. My career trajectory towards becoming a physician was put on hold when I received the diagnosis of Stage IV colon cancer in June 2017. Dealing with life’s uncertainties on a daily basis has made me realize how important it is to live for adventure and find joy in every day.

This is a space for me to share my thoughts and self-reflect on my cancer journey, share a piece of my daily life, and take you along with my travels.
